Nova went to the vet for a check up – thanks Billy Scheepers for being his chauffeur. Nova was in good spirits and definitely feeling better. However he still has a long way to go. His skin is improving but still itchy so he requires regular dipping with sebaderm. He is still full of parasites so is in on a course of daily panacur for the next 5 days.
The vet wants to see him again on Friday. He is still very thin and his immune system compromised so not strong enough for the vet to vaccinate or microchip. He is being kept in quarantine for another 7 days and after that we start the process of socialising him with other dogs.
