Peter Pan will repay you with a lifetime of companionship; LOTS of hugs, kisses and laughs
This boy has been through so many ups and downs and through the grace of God he has made it through everything. He has overcome many struggles: living as a stray in Gugulethu; being run over by a car; hip dysplasia; left hip operation (femoral head excision done by our vets); he had demodectic mange twice and he had lots of problems with his stomach due to all the medication he was on. AND he had 4 adoption applications that never came through. But through this all he has stayed the positive, loving and goofy woof that we all fell in-love with.

THANK YOU Husky Rescue South Africa!!
At last after being at our Epping branch for almost a year, Husky Rescue has helped Peter Pan (male, husky cross, +/- 1 year old) and adopted him from us and now he is staying with a lovely lady Melany until we/they can find a forever home for this special boy.
Our Vets and adoption team stayed determined to help this boy and we never gave up on him. They dedicated a lot of their time to help this boy with his rehabilitation.
We can’t always help cases like Peter Pan’s, but with all the help and support we received from the public we were able to give him the care that he needed. We’ve had many people helping Peter Pan with his recovery and we would like to thank you, without you we wouldn’t have been able to help this boy. Thank you Pet Wellness Worx for providing Peter Pan with physio and hydrotherapy for his hips. Thank youRoyal Canin SA for sponsoring Peter Pan with your special Mobility diet for his joints. And thank you to everyone who has generously donated funds for Peter Pan’s recovery.
Peter Pan is unfortunately still patiently waiting for his FOREVER home. But we are hoping that there is still a HERO out there willing to give this special boy a place called home? We promise Peter Pan will repay you with a lifetime of companionship; LOTS of hugs, kisses and laughs.
P.S: This boy is also great with other woofs and cats!
P.S.S: We love you Peter Pan and the shelter is feeling very quite without you here, but we are very happy that you now have the comfort of living in a home with a lovely family and canine friends.
