On 14 November 2015, Border Collie Rescue and Husky Rescue South Africa partnered up with Barking Army for their annual 94.7 Cycle Challenge to ride for a cause.

Partnering with Border Collie Rescue is a natural partnership for Husky Rescue SA. Both organisations are passionate about their respective breeds of dogs, take great care in the rehabilitation of their rescue dogs and are particular about the rehoming of these dogs – always ensuring that the dogs go to the perfect homes for them.

In this particular partnership supporters of both organisations are invited to enter the 94.7 Cycle Challenge and to “ride for a cause”. The R2500 sponsorship amount that each cyclist raises goes toward the organization that they are representing and the branded clothing that the cyclists wear helps raise awareness for the rescue organization and the breed that it represents.

This year 32 people rode for Border Collie Rescue and 42 people rode for Husky Rescue. The day is always incredibly well supported and this year!
